Lake Chalain
Lake Chalain is the largest natural lake in the Jura. Here you’ll find 3 monitored swimming beaches. Covering 232 hectares, it’s one of the most majestic lakes in the Jura, and if the light is right, its waters will be turquoise. A path allows you to cycle or walk around the lake. A host of activities are also offered at Domaine de Chalain: treetop obstacle course, Les Lagons aqua park and various catering options.

You will need to pay to park at the Domaine de Chalain in July and August, regardless of which beach you’re going to.
You can try your hand at a wide variety of water sports on the lake. However, motorized sports are banned to preserve the peace of the environment. But be warned, this is a real tourist hotspot in the summer! Lake Chambly, however, is beautifully unspoiled and yours alone.
